Komuram Bheem/Hyderabad, Sept 4 (Maxim News): Former Minister and Siddipet MLA Thanneeru Harish Rao has expressed his deep anger that CM Revanth Reddy is playing with the lives of farmers . He has flagged that lakhs of acres across the state are being put on the prohibited list and causing trouble to the people.
Today (Friday), former Minister Harish Rao participated and addressed the Kautala Farmers’ Conference in Komuram Bheem district. He mentioned that 42 thousand acres are on the prohibited list in Sirpur constituency. He expressed his anger that Revanth Reddy is taking advantage of the poor. He said that if KCR gave lands to them then… Revanth Reddy is snatching those lands. He expressed his concern that no schemes are applicable to the farmers on the prohibited list.
KCR’s rule is centered around the people.
“KCR ruled with the people as the focal point. Revanth Reddy’s rule continues with the lands as the focal point. They are creating trouble by putting lakhs of acres, houses and plots on the prohibited list. While the earth revolves around the sun… Revanth Reddy revolves around the lands. The Congress government should not give them to the poor but is occupying the existing lands. This government is the one who occupied the people’s lands.
Revanth Reddy is sitting in Hyderabad and insulting the occupants. Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy says that not a single acre has been placed on the prohibited list. If Revanth Reddy and Ponguleti say that the collectors have sent the list of prohibited lands… then Ponguleti easily says that he is sorry. He should see the suffering of the people and speak,” Harish Rao advised.
Is Indiramma’s rule about snatching the people’s land?
“They cannot get away with putting 15 lakh acres of land in 22A and saying ‘sorry’. Is Indiramma’s rule all about snatching the people’s lands? If collectors, officials and people are troubled… When BRS comes to power, we will not spare anyone.
The lands in the prohibited list should be unconditionally converted into patta lands. There is no peace until justice is done for the people and farmers. Even the contractors in the state are not submitting tenders. Contractors are not submitting tenders because they have to give 15 percent commission to Revanth Reddy. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka’s wife is also asking for 15 percent commission. That is why no one is coming forward to submit tenders. Not a single work has been done properly in the thousand days of rule,” said Harish Rao, expressing deep anger. (Maxim News)
