Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) embarked on an ambitious programme to set up new units to generate 500 MW of solar power. The company is firm on setting up new solar units with an installed capacity of 300 MW in the first phase within one year.
SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N Sridhar, who held a review meeting on the progress in the implementation of the programme at Singareni Bhavan with the officials concerned, wanted attention to be paid to the establishment of the solar units in a big way.
