Seized Cash Rs. 23,92,610 In Last 24 Hours: Ronald Rose 

Hyderabad, March 28 (Maxim News): As part of the enforcement of the election code of conduct, the authorities in the last 24 hours, seized a total of Rs. 23,92,610 cash and Rs. 14,66,994 worth of other items, this was informed District Electoral Officer and GHMC Commissioner, Ronald Rose.

During the 24 hours from March 27 to 28 from 6 am to 6 am,  Rs. 1,01,610 were seized by the flying squad, Rs, 19,61,000 by the police department, and Rs. 3,30,000 by YST teams.  DEO said police and other inspection teams seized other items worth Rs. 14,66,994.

10 complaints were received regarding cash and other items and all of them were examined and resolved DEO stated that 5 FIRs have been registered in the same way.

In the last 24 hours, 131.19 liters of liquor was consumed, 2 cases were registered and one person was arrested.  So far, 109 cases have been registered and 110 people have been arrested. He said 166 complaints have been scrutinized and resolved out of which FIRs have been registered against 129 people.  (Maxim News)
