T Protagonists Did Not Get Jobs After State Formation: Jeevan

Hyderabad, June 2 (Maxim News): Senior Congress leader and MLC T. Jeevan Reddy on Sunday said separate Telangana State was formed due to sacrifices of the students in the State. He, however, alleged that the students, who played a key role in the separate State agitation did not get justice after its formation.

Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao himself stated some 1.2 lakh vacancies were available in the government sector, Jeevan Reddy said the Chief Minister had filled only 20,000 posts during the last five years.

Reddy said that the students and youth of the state were in a state dispair due to the non recruitment of the vacant positions in the State. He said that the state government had not filled up a single teacher’s post in the state while noting that two DSCs were conducted in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh state. He also said that the district hospitals didn’t have ventilator facilities in the state. He said that the State government had failed in the aspects of education and health sectors. Commenting on the increase of old age pension amount to Rs.2000 by the state government, he told CM KCR that the neighbouring AP government had increased the same to. Rs.2250 per month.

He alleged that the state Government had taken up Mission Bhageeratha scheme to earn commissions from the project contractors. He said that the people of the state had taught a lesson to CM KCR in the recent parliament elections while noting that the State government had failed in all sectors of the state. He alleged that the CM was cheating the tribals of the state while making it clear that the people of the state never fought for the separate state for KCR kits and Asara pension schemes. He demanded the state government to make the payments for the paddy purchased from the farmers through IKP Centers. (Maxim News)
