April 9: Health Minister Eatala Rajender said on Friday that the state government is taking all precautions to stop the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. He mentioned that 1 lakh positive cases were recorded in the last 24 hours in which 57,000 are alone from Maharashtra.
“As Telangana is sharing borders with Maharashtra, our government is on high alert,” he mentioned. The minister stated that there is no shortage of beds in government hospitals. “Trying to increase administration of vaccination to people from the present 57,000 to 1.5 lakh per day,” he added.
