Team Of American Doctors Met With Harish Rao

Hyderabad, Jan 4 (Maxim News): A team of American doctors led by Bejjanki Hanmath under the leadership of BRS global Coordinator Mahesh Bigal met the Minister for Medical, Health, and Family Welfare and Finance T. Harish Rao.

American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) in this there are 80 thousand of medical alumni and doctors of Indian origin in America. In this there are 20 thousand doctors from Telangana and Hyderabad there are from Osmania, Gandhi, Kakatiya, and Telangana medical alumni.

During their discussion, Harish Rao said that after the formation of Telangana state, Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao brought radical changes in the medical field and gave priority to the establishment of medical colleges, with the hope that the Telangana students to not go to other countries for medical seats, he said r 8 new medical colleges were built and medical education was started.

He said that KCR has given suggestions that the medical services which are required by the people on a regular basis should be provided by the government, as part of it, the KCR kit and Amma Odi Scheme are being implemented for the welfare of pregnant women and newborn children. He also said that Basti Dawakhanas which were established with the idea of KCR is getting a special response. he said that the burden of medical expenses has been reduced for the poor in the Greater Hyderabad area. he said that Basti Dawakhanas will be set up in different parts of the state in the coming days.
