Telangana: Azharuddin To Replace Amer Ali Khan As MLC

Hyderabad, Aug 30 (Maxim News):  The Telangana Cabinet meeting held under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has decided to select Mohd Azharuddin and Kodandaram as MLCs under the Governor’s quota.  Azharuddin has been given a place in the place of Ameer Ali Khan, who was recommended earlier.

The Cabinet has also decided on 42 percent reservation for BCs.  It has decided to issue a GO lifting the limit imposed by the previous government on reservations to Panchayats.  Based on this, the government will provide 42 percent reservation to BCs.  (Maxim News)
