The Telangana Governor visit to Yadadri took place on Thursday as Governor Shiva Pratap Shukla and his family members visited the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple. The visit marked the Governor’s first trip to the temple after assuming charge as the Governor of Telangana.
Temple authorities welcomed the Governor and his family according to temple traditions. They received them with a Poornakumba as per the temple etiquette. The ceremonial welcome took place at the temple premises in Yadadri. Officials and temple staff were present during the reception.
Later, the Governor and his family proceeded to the temple to offer prayers. They visited the deity Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy and performed special pujas. The visit formed part of the Governor’s religious observance following his assumption of office.
Meanwhile, temple authorities honoured the Governor and his family members during the visit. They also presented them with Tirtha Prasadam after the prayers. The ceremonial presentation took place as part of the temple customs followed during such visits.
Several officials attended the visit along with the Governor. District Collector Anurag Jayanthi participated in the programme. Temple Executive Officer Bhavani Shankar was also present during the occasion. Other officials accompanied them during the temple visit.
The Telangana Governor visit to Yadadri drew attention as it was the first time the Governor visited the temple after taking charge. Therefore, temple authorities followed traditional rituals and protocol to welcome the dignitary.
Later, the Governor and his family completed the prayers and temple rituals as scheduled. The visit concluded after the ceremonial honours and the offering of Tirtha Prasadam by the temple authorities. Officials present ensured that the programme followed the temple’s established customs and procedures.
