Telangana IAS Transfers and Key Collector Changes

Telangana IAS Transfers | Hyderabad, April 26 (Maxim News): The Telangana government issued a major reshuffle of IAS officers on late Saturday . It transferred and posted several senior officials in key districts and departments.

The General Administration Department released G.O. Rt. No. 541, dated April 25, 2026.  The orders include changes in district collectors, GHMC zonal commissioners, and senior department officials.

Telangana IAS Transfers Key Changes:

  • Bhavesh Mishra (IAS 2015) moved from ITE&C Department and took charge as Nirmal Collector.
  • Priyanka Ala (IAS 2016) shifted from GHMC Khairatabad and became Hyderabad Collector.
  • Prateek Jain (IAS 2017) moved from Narayanpet and became Sangareddy Collector.
  • Divakara TS (IAS 2017) shifted from Mulugu and took charge as Khammam Collector.
  • Hemant Sahadeorao Bhorkhade (IAS 2018) moved from GHMC Serilingampally and became Mulugu Collector.

  • Chekka Priyanka (IAS 2018) moved from I&PR Department and became Narayanpet Collector.
  • Hemanta Keshav Patil (IAS 2019) shifted from GHMC LB Nagar and took charge as Nagarkurnool Collector.
  • Manda Makarandu (IAS 2020) moved from GHMC Rajendranagar and became Project Officer, ITDA Utnoor.
  • Lenin Vatsal Toppo (IAS 2021) shifted from Mahabubabad and became Project Officer, ITDA Eturunagaram.

The government also transferred two young IAS officers.

  • Kirannmayi Koppisetti (IAS 2022) moved from Banswada Sub Collector post and became Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Rangareddy.
  • Yuvraj Marmat (IAS 2022) shifted from Utnoor Sub Collector post and became Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Kumuram Bheem Asifabad.

Officials said the transfers aim to improve administration and strengthen district governance.

The reshuffle comes as the government focuses on field level delivery, urban management, and development works across Telangana.
