Telangana Police Recruitment | Hyderabad, Sept. 8 (Maxim News): Telangana Police Recruitment Board extended the application deadline for 7,437 police posts. Candidates can now apply until September 16, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
Furthermore, the board took this decision in response to requests from applicants. The earlier deadline was September 9, 2026.
According to the board press note, the Telangana government released four recruitment notifications on July 29, 2026. All four notifications cover a combined total of 7,437 posts in the Police Department.
Moreover, the extension gives candidates one additional week to complete and submit their applications. Additionally, candidates who missed the original deadline now have a fresh opportunity.
The board urged all eligible applicants to submit their forms before the new closing date. As a result, no further extension is expected beyond September 16, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
