Telangana Rising 2026 Global Summit Preparations Begin, CS Calls For Coordinated Action

Hyderabad, Aug 5 (Maxim News): Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju on Wednesday directed all government departments to work in close coordination and make comprehensive arrangements for the successful conduct of the Telangana Rising 2026 Global Summit, scheduled to be held in December.

He said the summit should emerge as a global platform to attract large-scale investments and accelerate the state’s long-term economic growth.

Reviewing the preparations at a high-level meeting held at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat, the Chief Secretary said every department must prepare detailed action plans and ensure seamless coordination for the event.

The meeting was conducted under the directions of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

Sanjay Jaju said the Global Summit is a key initiative under the government’s Telangana Rising 2047 vision, which aims to position the state as a national leader in economic development, industrial expansion, innovation, infrastructure, employment generation, and welfare.

He stressed that the participation of national and international organisations would be crucial in attracting major investments into Telangana.

The summit, he said, is expected to play a significant role in increasing the state’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) and strengthening its position as a preferred investment destination.

The Chief Secretary instructed all departments to formulate department-wise action plans and complete preparatory works well ahead of the summit.

During the meeting, officials proposed hosting the summit at the Young India Skill University campus, which is under construction at Bharat Future City.

The Chief Secretary directed the concerned departments to ensure the timely completion of essential infrastructure, including roads, power supply, drinking water facilities, and other civic amenities.

Officials also reviewed strategies to promote Telangana as a global investment hub by strengthening industrial growth, expanding skill development opportunities for youth, generating employment, and improving digital governance and public service delivery.

The meeting included detailed discussions on investment promotion, industrial policy, infrastructure development, innovation, and measures to showcase Telangana’s growth potential before global investors.

Chief Minister’s Advisor and Ex-officio Special Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, TGIIC Managing Director Shashanka, Invest Telangana CEO Ajith Reddy, Industries Department Special Secretary Krishna Aditya, Director Nikhil Chakravarthy, IT Department Joint Secretary Anudeep Durishetty, and senior officials from various departments attended the review meeting.
