The Three BRS Candidates For MLC Post Declared Elected Unopposed

Hyderabad, March 16 (Maxim News) The ruling BRS party candidates for 3 MLC seats in the MLA quota have been declared elected unopposed.

It may be recalled that four nominations had been filed; the election officer announced that the nomination of Palamuri Kamala, who had contested as an independent candidate, had been rejected.

Only the nominations of Challa Venkarami Reddy, Despathi Srinivas and Naveen Kumar Kurmaiyagari of the rest of the BRS candidates have been declared valid.  The deadline for withdrawal of nominations is 4 pm today.  Later, as there were only three BRS candidates in the circle, the returning office announced that the three members were elected unopposed.  (Maxim News)
