Amaravathi/Hyderabad, April 2 (Maxim News): Union Minister Rammohan Naidu said that today is a historic day for all Telugu people. He said that all Telugu people are proud of the Amaravati capital bill of Andhra Pradesh. After the division of the united Andhra Pradesh, AP became a state without a capital. Rammohan Naidu expressed happiness that today that deficit will be filled. He said that they are against the way AP was divided. He appealed to everyone to know why the capital bill was brought.
The Union Minister said that even though Andhra Pradesh is a state without a capital, their leader CM Chandrababu Naidu has taught them to turn crises into opportunities. He said that during Vajpayee’s rule, 3 states were divided. There were no problems at that time. But the problem started when AP was left without a capital during the division of Andhra Pradesh. He said that at that time AP had a revenue deficit of Rs. 16 thousand crores. Rammohan Naidu said that there are dark days in AP between 2019 and 2024.
The Union Minister expressed his grief that confusion was created in the name of the three capitals. The farmers who were agitating for the capital were severely tortured. He was angry that they were beaten with sticks without even considering that they were pregnant women. He said that the people’s capital Amaravati will be remembered in history. Union Minister Rammohan Naidu said that it was the AP government’s decision to build Amaravati on the banks of the Krishna River. Construction is underway as an iconic, world-class capital.
