Top Maoist leader’s wife surrenders before DGP

Hyderabad, Sept.17 (Maxim News): Top Maoist leader of the country Late Hari Bhushan’s wife Sharadakka alias Jajjari Sammakka surrendered before the DGP of the State M. Mahender Reddy today. She is working as the Bhadadri Kothagudem division committee member.

Addressing a press conference on the occasion, DGP Mahender Reddy said that Haribhushan had invited Sharadakka into the Maoist party when she was a minor and added that Sharadakka hailed from Gangaram village of Mahbubabad district. He said that Haribhushan married Sharadakka in the year 1995 after obtaining permission from the party high command.

Reddy said that Sharadakka surrendered before Warangal SP in the year 2008 after discharging various responsibilities in the banned Maoist Organization and added that Sharadakka continued to lead a normal life till the year 2011. He said that Sarada once again joined the Maoist party after Haribhushan told her that he would marry another woman while noting that she worked along with her in the Maoist party husband till the year 2016. Haribhushan died recently after becoming the victim of Covid 19 virus.

Financial Assistance:

The DGP said that they were providing ₹5 lakh to Sharadakka under a financial assistance program . He said that the condition of the Maoist party had become very poor due to the spread of the Corona virus. He said that Sharadakka was angry with the Maoist leadership as it failed in providing proper treatment to her husband after he was infected with the virus . He said that a total of 10 Maoists died so far due to the Covid 19 virus .

He also said that no person had joined in the Maoist party from Telangana and added that the people of the state were not extending any support to the Maoists now. He said that they would provide all kinds of protection to all the Surrendered Maoists.

Speaking on the occasion, Sharadakka made an appeal to all the existing Maoists to surrender before the police . She is facing 25 cases. (Maxim News)
