Nirmal/Hyderabad, June 9 (Maxim News): A great tragedy took place in Basara today (Tuesday). Three devotees who had gone to the Gnanasaraswati Ammavari temple drowned in the Godavari river due to a sudden accident. A family from Kachiguda Chappal Bazar in Hyderabad had gone to the temple to have darshan of the goddess. However, before the darshan, the family members entered the Godavari river to take a holy dip.
Three youths of the victim’s family went missing due to the inability to assess the depth correctly. The missing Chandrashekhar (38), Ramachander (36), and Mallesh Kumar (31) are believed to be brothers. The local swimmers who noticed the accident started a search operation for the missing persons. The victim’s family members are crying bitterly as the three brothers and sisters ended up in the water. They are begging their mothers to keep them safe. On the other hand, the police, after receiving information, have left for the scene. (Maxim News)
