According to police, the accused allegedly created fake Government Orders and fabricated official documents to facilitate the illegal sale of 10 acres of government land in Gandipet. The land is estimated to be worth nearly Rs 1,500 crore.

On May 29, Cyberabad Police announced the arrest of three persons and claimed to have uncovered a large-scale land fraud network valued at around Rs 1,000 crore.

Cyberabad Deputy Commissioner of Police C.H. Srinivas said Radhakrishna had worked as an outsourcing employee in the Information Technology and Communication Department of the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat between 2006 and 2009.

After leaving the job, he allegedly used his knowledge of government procedures to deceive people by claiming he could secure government jobs, land regularisation orders, pattadar passbooks, succession proceedings and other official permissions.

Police said that in 2013, Radhakrishna allegedly impersonated a Deputy Collector and advocate and collected around Rs 30 lakh from unemployed individuals by promising them government jobs.
