Hyderabad, Sept.5 (Maxim News): Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav today said that the government launched integrated fishermen development program to revive financial conditions in rural areas. At a program in Peoples Plaza attended by Deputy Chief Minister Mahamood Ali, the minister interacted with fishermen societies and fishermen. They distributed vehicles to 905 beneficiaries came from 31 districts including 885 two wheelers, 12 luggage autos, 8 trucks and other aides.
He said that efforts are on to sell fish produced to the outer world and colleges will be opened for fishermen. He asked the fishermen to focus on selling the produce at markets well advance. The minister cautioned against the middlemen intervention and the fishermen have to remain careful and ensure they get benefit from the produce at aqua market. (Maxim News)
