Will Raise LRS Issue In Assembly: Jagga Reddy

Hyderabad, Sept.12 (Maxim News): The Congress Party MLA from Sangareddy Assembly constituency T. Jagga Reddy today said that he would raise the controversial Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) issue in the assembly. He said that the people, who owned a plot to 200syrds were forced to pay ₹40,000 to the state government under the scheme. He said that the burden was being shifted on the owners of the plots as the layout developers didn’t pay the same to the state government.

He alleged that the state government was not giving prompt permissions to the layouts. He also said that people were buying plots due to their low costs. He told the state government that the people of the state were in problems due to demonitisation, GST and Covid 19 virus pandemic while wondering if it is the time for the state government to budde the people with the LRS . He said that it was not good for the state government to state it would register the properties only on the production of the LRS certificate. (Maxim News)
