Chinna Shankarampet/Hyderabad, Mar 9 (Maxim News): 10,000 chickens died of an unknown disease in villages of Chinna Shankarampet Mandal of Medak district on Saturday. The owners of the farms in Gavapalli and Jangarai villages were moved to tears as the chickens that had contracted the disease died before their eyes.
Chicken keepers Sangem Janardhan, Aare Yadagiri and Minipuri Bhupal Reddy lamented that a large number of chickens have been dying for the past week duwe to the virus.
It is known that chickens died due to bird flu in Medak district. The dead chickens were buried in the ground. Farmers are expressing their grief that they have suffered losses in lakhs of rupees. They have requested the government to help them. (Maxim News)
