US and Iran Exchange Fresh Strikes
Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei criticised the United States, calling the US President’s commitments “worthless.” He alleged repeated violations of agreements between the two countries, according to the media.
Meanwhile, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said its forces completed the seventh consecutive night of strikes targeting surveillance sites, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage facilities and maritime capabilities in Iran.
In a statement on X, CENTCOM said more than 50,000 US service members remain deployed across the Middle East and are prepared for further operations.
Iranian state media reported that three people were killed and eight others injured in the latest US strikes.
The IRGC claimed it targeted the US naval fuel support pier at Al Ahmadi Port in Kuwait and the US combat aircraft site at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain.
According to local media reports, Jordan intercepted Iranian missiles, Bahrain intercepted multiple aerial attacks, and a fire broke out at a power and water desalination plant in Kuwait following an Iranian attack.
The IRGC also warned that countries hosting US military forces could face retaliatory action if their territories are used for attacks against Iran.
