Rampant Use Of Liquor, Drugs, And Ganja Is Cause Of Increasing Crime In State: Congress
Hyderabad, Feb 27 (Maxim News): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) activists stage a protest in front of the Excise Department office in Nampally, Hyderabad. Congress leaders have expressed concern that crime is increasing in the state due to the rampant use of alcohol, drugs, and ganja. It is said that alcohol and drugs are the cause of the attacks and murders of women and girls.
The Congress leaders said that the increase in drugs and alcohol has a serious impact on society. They said that the income from alcohol has increased tremendously in Telangana but the peace and security have completely deteriorated.
They said that youths are being addicted and feared that due to negligence of the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s government, the entire generation has been spoiled. Later, they handed over the petition to the Assistant Commissioner of the Excise department. (Maxim News)
