Heavy Rains In Both Telugu States For More 3 Days

Hyderabad, Aug 19 (Maxim News): The Meteorological Department has announced that there will be heavy rains for the next three days under the influence of surface circulation in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) officials said that the period has spread over Telangana, which is adjacent to North Karnataka. Due to this effect, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains in many districts of the state. IMD has issued a rain alert, 30 to 40 km per hour along with the heavy rains.

The IMD advised people to be alert as there is a possibility of thunder and lightning along with lightning. Those who go to farm work should be alert under the trees. IMD advised not to be in public places.

Heavy Rains In Telangana: Alert In Districts

Rains are pouring down in TelanganaModerate to heavy rains especially in northern Telangana districts. IMD has said that there will be rain in Telangana for the next 3 days. In this order, a yellow alert has been issued to many districts. A yellow alert has been issued to 25 districts. It has warned that there is a possibility of gusty winds of 30 to 40 km per hour. It has been revealed that there is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning. A yellow alert has been issued for Adilabad, Manchiryala, Sircilla, Karimnagar, Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, Bhadradri, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda and Jangam districts. The IMD announced that rain will occur in Siddipet, Yadadri, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool districts. People are advised to be alert.

Heavy Rains In Andhra Pradesh: Alert In Districts

Moderate rains are falling in AP due to the effect of surface circulation. Officials said that the Kurnool, Anantapur, Sathyasai, Kadapa, Chittoor, and Tirupati districts of Rayalaseema are likely to receive light rains. Srikakulam Vizianagaram, Alluri Sitaramaraju,k Parvathipuram, Visakhapatnam, and Anakapalli districts of Uttarandhra are also expected to receive rain.  Officials revealed that moderate to heavy rains are likely to occur in some parts of Kakinada, East Godavari, Eluru, Prakasam, and Nandyala districts.  Meteorological Department officials said that Konaseema, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Palnadu districts will receive light to moderate rains.
