WATCH | Caste Census Started In Telangana
Hyderabad, Nov 6 (Maxim News): Minister for B.C. Welfare and Transport Ponnam Prabhakar started the survey at the GHMC office on Wednesday morning. The State government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has completed all arrangements for a comprehensive house-to-house family survey.
80 thousand enumerators and 18 thousand supervisors have been trained for the survey. The government has appointed 18,723 enumerators and 1870 supervisors for the survey in Greater Hyderabad.
In Greater Hyderabad, from today till 8 November i.e. for two days, the staff will first go door to door and give the survey information. The staff will go to the house and put stickers and enumerators will give the survey information. A comprehensive house-to-house family survey will be started from November 9. The survey consists of a collection of household information with a total of 75 questions. There will be 56 main questions and 19 supplementary questions. The survey papers were prepared in two parts, Part 1 and Part 2 in eight pages.

Part 1 contains personal details of family owners and members. The survey includes the collection of general, education, job, employment, lands, reservation benefits, migration, political, and caste information, In Part 2 family details will be collected. Out of a total of 17 questions, seven will be main questions and the rest will have supplementary questions. There will be no taking of photographs or taking of documents during the survey. The whole family doesn’t have to be there. (Maxim News)
