Banswada Police Arrested 6 Members Gang For Printing Fake Currency Notes In Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Dec 15 (Maxim News): Banswada police have arrested six members of a gang that was printing fake currency notes in Hyderabad and transporting them to other places.

SP Sindhu Sharma disclosed the details at a press conference at the Kamareddy district police office on Saturday. While the Banswada police were checking vehicles at Koyyagura on Friday, some people in a car tried to flee after seeing the police.
The police chased them and caught three of them. They include Kolavar Kiran Kumar from Bichkunda in Kamareddy district, K. Ramesh Goud from Banswada, and Kapatri Rajgopal from Kompally in Hyderabad.
The police seized fake Rs. 500 notes worth Rs. 30 lakh from them. Later, on the investigation, it was found that a gang of 8 people from Telangana, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and Maharashtra were involved in this racket.

Among them, Rajagopal from Telangana and Hussain Peera from Karnataka invest in the printing and circulation of fake notes. Kamal and Sukhram from Rajasthan and Radhakrishna from Uttarakhand together produce fake currency. Kiran Kumar and Ramesh Goud from Kamareddy district and Ajay Eshwar from Maharashtra are circulating these.
The equipment required for making fake notes was purchased from the CTCs of Gauliguda and Secunderabad in the city and Rs. 500 fake notes worth Rs. 60 lakhs were printed in the penthouse of Antilia Apartment in Bowenpally. Of this, Rs. 3 lakhs were handed over to Kiran Kumar of Bichkunda and Ramesh Goud of Banswada for circulation.
They circulated them in the surrounding villages. Another Rs. 30 lakhs was brought from Hyderabad to Banswada by Rajagopal and handed over to Kiran Kumar and Ramesh Goud.
However, Kiran Kumar and Ramesh Goud left in a car to drop Rajgopal at the Banswada bus stand. In this process, they were caught by the police at Koyyagutta in Banswada. After seizing Rs. 30 lakh, the police conducted inspections in Hyderabad based on the information of the accused and seized the remaining Rs. 500 notes worth Rs. 26.90 lakh.
They also seized the materials used for making the notes. The SP said that the accused Rajagopal, Hussain Peera, Kiran Kumar, Ramesh Goud, Radhakrishna, and Ajy Eswar have been arrested. Kamal and Sukhram are absconding, he said. He explained that fake Rs. 500 notes worth Rs. 56 lakh 90 thousand have been seized from the accused. (Maxim News)
