India As World’s Factory: Everything From Toys To War Tanks: Rajnath Singh

Hyderabad, Oct 4 (Maxim News): Everything from toys to war tanks is being manufactured in India, and the day when our country will become a global factory is not far off, said Union Defence minister Rajnath Singh.

Rajnath Singh inaugurated the three-day conference ‘Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) Connect 2025’, which began at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre on Friday, along with Union Minister Kishan Reddy, Speaking later, he said that the share of the jain community in the Indian economy is extraordinary.

He said that although the jain community constitutes only 0.5 percent of the country’s population, their contribution to the total tax collection is 24 percent. he praised the jain community for its hard work and prosperity, which has been recognized worldwide.

He said that the philosophy of the jain community is deeply rooted in Indian culture, and its history is all invaluable lesson in India’s spiritual and cultural journey. He said that the Jain community is at the forefront in the fields of pharma, aviation and education. From ancient Tirthankaras to modern-day leaders, Jain ideology has shaped the moral and religious fabric of india. The imprint of the Jain community is everywhere. (Maxim News)
