The Dundigal police have arrested two men in connection with the murder of a 21-year-old woman, Swathi, at Bahadurpally on Friday night. According to officials, the suspects — identified as Kishan and Rajesh — were taken into custody after they allegedly slit the victim’s throat inside her home at Green Hills Colony. Investigators stated that Swathi had been living separately from her husband due to ongoing marital disputes and had rented accommodation in Bahadurpally. Kishan, who had known her since the time of her separation, arranged the house for her in a building under his possession. Rajesh, a friend of Kishan, was reportedly in contact with them as well. Before moving to Hyderabad, Swathi had lodged a police complaint at her native place accusing her husband of attempting to kill her.

On the night of the incident, Kishan and Rajesh allegedly entered her residence and killed her before fleeing the scene. Following swift action, the Dundigal police traced their whereabouts and arrested both. The officers are now verifying evidence and recording statements to determine the exact sequence of events.

According to police sources, Kishan was reportedly having an extramarital relationship with Swathi, which led to personal problems within his own family. Additionally, there were financial disputes between him and the victim. Investigators believe these issues may have driven the crime. The police have registered a case and are continuing the investigation to gather further details surrounding the motive and plan behind the murder.

The crime has shocked residents of Green Hills Colony, where the victim had been living for a short time. Police have assured that all aspects of the case, including any possible involvement of others, will be thoroughly examined.
