Municipal Election: CM Revanth Reddy Cast His Vote In Kodangal
Municipal Election | Hyderabad, Feb. 11: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy cast his vote in Kodangal as Municipal Election polling continued peacefully across Telangana on Wednesday, barring minor incidents.
He exercised his franchise at the local Zilla Parishad Boys High School in his home constituency.
Speaking to the media after voting, the Chief Minister said a vote is the most powerful weapon in a democracy.
Therefore, he urged citizens to participate responsibly for the development of towns. He appealed to every voter to come forward and strengthen urban governance.
Municipal Election: Polling Continues Under Tight Security
Meanwhile, polling progressed smoothly in most urban local bodies.
Officials ensured arrangements at polling stations to facilitate voters. Except for scattered incidents, the process remained orderly across the state.
Security was tightened in Kodangal due to the Chief Minister’s visit. Police personnel were deployed in adequate numbers to maintain law and order.
Vikarabad District Collector and the Superintendent of Police closely monitored the polling process.
Authorities continued supervision at various booths to ensure free and fair polling. The ongoing Municipal Election polling witnessed active participation from urban voters across Telangana.
