Hyderabad: Miyapur bus accident left one person seriously injured after a private bus overturned within the Miyapur police station limits. The incident involved a bus belonging to a pharma company and caused temporary traffic disruption in the area.
According to available details, a minibus of Lee Pharma Company started its journey from KPHB to Gaddipotharam at around 8:00 am on Tuesday. The bus was carrying 10 employees at the time. However, the situation changed within a short span as the vehicle approached a U turn point.
Meanwhile, at around 8:30 am, two buses were moving parallel near BK Enclave. This stretch lies on the route from Miyapur Chowrasta to Bachupally. During this movement, one of the buses suddenly turned to the right. As a result, the Lee Pharma bus lost control.
Therefore, the bus first hit the divider and then swerved to the other side of the road. Soon after, it overturned on the road, causing panic among passengers and other road users. The person sitting in the front seat suffered head injuries and was reported to be seriously injured.
At the same time, the remaining passengers sustained minor injuries in the mishap. However, authorities have not reported any further complications regarding their condition. The incident highlights the risks involved during sudden turns and parallel vehicle movement on busy roads.
Also, traffic was disrupted for a while following the accident. Vehicles slowed down as the overturned bus blocked part of the road. Soon after, Miyapur Traffic Police reached the spot to manage the situation.
Later, officials used a crane to lift the bus and move it to the side of the road. This helped restore traffic flow in the area. The situation returned to normal after the clearance operation.
Overall, the Miyapur bus accident caused injuries and temporary disruption. Authorities acted quickly to clear the road and restore normal movement.
