CM Chandrababu Naidu To Visit Veligonda Project Today

Hyderabad, June 27: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will visit the under construction Pula Subbayya Veligonda project in Markapuram district on Saturday to review project progress and interact with officials.

As part of the visit, the Chief Minister will first reach Kothur in Dornala mandal and inspect the ongoing works at the Veligonda project site. He is also scheduled to review construction progress with officials and assess the status of key development activities.

Chandrababu Naidu to review Veligonda project works

Following the inspection, Chandrababu Naidu will visit Gantavani village to examine the progress of feeder canal works linked to the irrigation project.

The Chief Minister will later distribute compensation to displaced families from villages affected by submergence under the project.

According to the schedule, Chandrababu Naidu will depart from Hyderabad at 9:45 am and is expected to reach the Veligonda project area by 10:45 am. After completing the review and compensation programme, he will leave for Giddalur at around 12:35 pm.

Officials have completed all arrangements ahead of the visit, while police have put in place extensive security measures to ensure smooth conduct of the programme.
