Amaravathi, Aug. 28 (Maxim News): Terming Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s early election strategy as ‘wiliness’ one, Ananthapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy has opined that KCR was going for early elections with a concern that Muslim voters may be distanced if the polls are conducted as per schedule. He said the conditions were different when compared the conditions prevailed during NTR’s regime in regard to alliances.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Diwakar Reddy said the TRS party would enter into an alliance with the BJP in Parliament elections. Stating that the TDP was weak in Telangana State, JC said the Congress party in Telangana was seeking the support of the TDP. There was nothing wrong in extending support to the Congress party by the TDP as TDP was not in a position to form the government, he opined. The TDP-Congress alliance will be confined only to Telangana State and there was no need for the same in Andhra Pradesh State.
JC alleged that the AP State was being deceived by the Centre for the last four years and there was nothing wrong in believing the Congress, which was assuring that it will do justice to Andhra Pradesh if came to power at the Centre. (Maxim News)
