It is Better if Cantonment Area is merged with GHMC: Talasani

Hyderabad, Sept.23 (Maxim News): Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav today stated that it is better if Cantonment area is merged with the GHMC for rapid development. Along with Home Minister Mahamood Ali and officials, Srinivas Yadav has participated in development programs in the Cantonment area.

The Ministers in a lottery method offered documents and keys to beneficiaries to 168 housing units of 2BHK type. Speaking on the occasion, Srinivas Yadav said that the government will develop Cantonment area if it is merged with the GHMC purview.

The Government built them by spending Rs 17 cr for the poor to live in self respect, and the credit goes to the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Sriniavas Yadav claimed.

Since there are no funds allocated to the cantonment area development took a backseat, the minister said. If the area is merged with the GHMC purview, it will be developed with more funds for adequate roads, and facilities, the minister said.

Mahamood Ali said that the chief minister was giving 2BHK to the poor for self respect. The housing units are fully developed with modern facilities, he said. (Maxim News)
