Rajanna Sircilla /Hyderabad, Sept 1 (Maxim News): An incident took place in Rajanna Sircilla district, where an elderly woman living alone was targeted and attacked and her gold ornaments were stolen. The elderly woman suffered serious injuries to her mouth and lost her teeth in the attack, and was rushed to the hospital by locals.
Mallavva, a resident of RR Chinthalthana village in Vemulawada Urban Mandal, lives alone. Like every day, she slept at a relative’s house next door on Monday night. On Tuesday morning, she came to her house, unlocked it and went inside. The assailant, who saw Mallavva entering the house, followed her and entered the house. He then attacked the elderly woman and snatched a gold talisman weighing about three tola from her neck and fled from there.
Mallavva suffered serious injuries to her mouth in the attack by the assailant. Locals who witnessed the incident immediately rushed her to a nearby area hospital. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot and collected details. The police, who have registered a case and are investigating the incident, are trying to trace the assailant.
