Auto Driver Murdered By Unidentified People In Mailardevpally

An auto driver was brutally murdered by unidentified persons at Mailardevpally in Hyderabad on Friday night. The victim, identified as Afroz, aged 22, lived in the Guntalshah Darga area. According to early information, he was called for a discussion late in the night by some individuals who later attacked and killed him using sharp-edged weapons.

The murder, which occurred under mysterious circumstances, has sent shockwaves through the local community. Residents reported hearing screams in the area shortly before the police arrived. The assault appeared planned, as the attackers reportedly lured the victim out before executing the crime. The exact motive, however, remains unclear.

Upon receiving information, the police rushed to the location and cordoned off the crime scene. They later shifted Afroz’s body to the mortuary for postmortem examination. Investigators suspect that the killing could have been motivated by previous enmity or personal disputes, though this line of inquiry remains under verification. Officials are reviewing local CCTV footage and questioning possible witnesses.

Mailardevpally police have registered a murder case and are pursuing leads to identify and trace the assailants. Officers said that all efforts are underway to apprehend the culprits at the earliest. Meanwhile, residents of the Guntalshah Darga area have demanded strict police action and heightened night patrols to prevent further incidents. The investigation is currently ongoing.
