Hyderabad, August 5: Dundigal Police arrested a man from Bihar for allegedly selling ganja chocolates in Dundigal Thanda 2 on Wednesday. Police seized 71 ganja chocolates weighing around 350 grams from the accused.
The arrest was made after police received information about the illegal sale of ganja chocolates in the area. Based on the tip off, officials conducted a search operation in Dundigal Thanda 2.
Police identified the accused as Ranjit Kumar, a labourer working at a company in Kazipally. He was residing in Dundigal Thanda 2 at the time of his arrest.
According to police, Ranjit Kumar brought the ganja chocolates from his mother in law’s village in Bihar. He was allegedly caught while selling the chocolates to local workers and labourers in the area.
Dundigal Police registered a case and launched a further investigation into the incident.
