BJP Would Launch A Day Long “ Fasting Diksha”: Bandi Sanjay

Hyderabad, April 23 (Maxim News): Telangana State BJP party would organize a day long “ fasting diksha” ( Upvas diksha) tomorrow in support of farmers who have been facing problems due to negligence attitude of the TRS government.

“ Fasting diksha”would be organized from 10 am to 5 pm and state party president Bandi Sanjay Kumar would participate in the state headquarters here, State BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar , in a statement, said it was unfortunate that the state government has not responded on the farmers problems despite the party has brought to the notice of the government. He said the farmers have been facing various problem including not getting labours due to lockdown, government not purchasing their crops and no proper arrangements at IKP centres. The party has been highlighting the problems of the farmers for the last on week. But the state government has not responded positively to solve their problems, he alleged.

Appealing the farmers not to lose their hope the state BJP chief assured that the party would extend all help to them and mount pressure on the TRS government till they get justice.

Taking a dig at KCR Bandi Sanjay said the chief minister had said that there was good production of paddy this year and he wanted to celebrate with the farmers for producing good crop production. But KCR while appreciating the farmers for their production forgot their all problems. The farmers are now confused where to take their products for sell as markets are closed due to lockdown. KCR had also stated that government is making all arrangement for purchase of farmer’s products at IKP centres. But contrary to his promise purchase of paddy not yet started due to lack of coordination between the officials in the districts, Sanjay accused.

The BJP party is organizing a day long fasting diksha tomorrow in protest against anti-farmers policy of the TRS government , Sanjay said and assured the farmers that his party would extend help to them and mount pressure on the government to ensure justice and mitigate the problems of the farmers.

State BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar would sit on “ Diksha” tomorrow at state BJP office at Nampally from 10am to 5 pm. He called upon party leaders, core committee members, office bearers, mandal and district presidents to organize “ diksha” in their houses itself while following lockdown norms. (Maxim News)
