Bomb Threat To Warangal District Court: 6 Detonators Seized
Hyderabad, June 20 (Maxim News): A bomb threat call to the Warangal District Court has created a stir. An unidentified person called the police on Friday (June 20) afternoon and said that a bomb had been planted in the District Court at Hanamkonda Adalat. The police, who were immediately alerted, rushed to the court. The bomb squad and Subedari Station police carried out intensive checks in the court premises.
The entire court premises were taken into custody and searched. In this process, the police seized 6 detonators stored in the court premises.
These detonators were identified as having been seized earlier in a case related to Atmakur. The police revealed when the case related to the detonators was dismissed.
Police and court staff have said that these detonators have nothing to do with the latest bomb threat call. The police, who have registered a case in this incident, are searching for the unknown person who made the threat call. Those who came to the district court due to the bomb threat call were panicked. A heavy police force was deployed at the court to prevent any untoward incident. (Maxim News)
