Covid-19: 1,015 new cases and three fatalities in Telangana

A total of 1,716 persons recovered on Wednesday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,35,950 with a recovery rate of 92.65 percent.

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 1015 new Covid-19 infections and three fatalities on Wednesday, taking the overall toll to 1393 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,54,666. As on Wednesday, there were 17,323 active Covid-19 cases in Telangana State.

A total of 1,716 persons recovered on Wednesday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,35,950 with a recovery rate of 92.65 percent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 92.80 per cent.

Between Tuesday and Wednesday, 40,603 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 377 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 47,70,004 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,54,666 have tested positive and 2,35,950 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts include 6 from Adilabad, 80 from Bhadradri, 172 from areas under GHMC, 18 from Jagtiyal, 12 from Jangaon, 11 from Bhupalpally, 10 from Gadwal, 13 from Kamareddy, 46 from Karimnagar, 48 from Khammam, five from Asifabad, 14 each from Mahabubnagar and Mahabubabad, 25 each from Mancherial, 12 from Medak, 97 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 12 from Mulugu, 21 from Nagarkurnool, 57 from Nalgonda, two from Narayanpet, 15 from Nirmal, 25 from Nizamabad, 17 from Pedapalli, 16 from Siricilla, 98 Rangareddy, 42 from Sangareddy, 15 from Siddipet, 21 from Suryapet, 14 from Vikarabad, nine from Wanaparthy, 14 from Warangal Rural, 41 from Warangal Urban and 13 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
