D.R. Doley Barman takes charges as Director, SVP National Police Academy

Hyderabad, March 1 (Maxim News): Mrs. D.R. Doley Barman, IPS, Additional Director General of Police and presently working as Director, North East Police Academy (NEPA), Shillong, Meghalaya took over as the Director of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad at an official function held in the Academy here on Wednesday.

Mrs. D.R. Doley Barman, IPS is borne on Jammu & Kashmir Cadre and belongs to 1986 batch. Mrs. Doley Barman will hold the dual charges of Director, NEPA and the SVP National Police Academy for the present. She has held several important posts in Government of Jammu & Kashmir, Assam and also in Central Government for Ministry of Home Affairs. She is a recipient of Sher-e-Kashmir Medal for Meritorious Service, Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Service and the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service.

Mrs. Doley Barman has held important assignments in Jammu & Kashmir, in Assam on deputation, and also with CBI and SSB. She is a recipient of Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Service and President’s Medal for Distinguished Service.
