Khammam/Hyderabad, june 17 (Maxim News) BRS working president K.Tarak Rama Rao has advised that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process should not be neglected at all. In the past, parties lost in Bengal and Bihar elections because of ignoring this issue. KTR warned that we should not make that mistake. He expressed confidence that if the elections in the state are held honestly, BRS will win a landslide victory with 100 seats under the leadership of KCR.
At The BRS General body meeting held in Khammam, party working president KTR gave directions to the cadre. He called for being extremely vigilant about the voter list keeping in mind the upcoming elections. Recalling the SIR process that took place in the United State in 2002, he explained that now the voter list from 2002 to 2025 is going to be mapped. He said that it is our responsibility to provide complete information regarding linked votes and unlinked votes to the authorities.
KTR reminded that there are 36 thousand polling booths across the state, 3.39 crore votes and there are 291 booths in Khammam district alone. Hence, he made it clear that one person should be appointed for each polling booth. KTR said that after the examination of BLA and BLO, the draft list of voters will be released on July 31, if the votes of the deceased are in the voters list, they should be removed immediately. he told the cadre that this is going to be final voters list for the upcoming elections, so no eligible vote should be lost.
