Drone Maker Signs MoU With French Company: Killer Drones Will Be Manufactured In India
Hyderabad, June 18 (Maxim News): After the Operation Sindoor, Indian Defence Companies are busy with a series of orders and contracts. Bharat Forge Company has announced that it has signed a memorandum of Understanding with French company Tergis Gallard to provide AAROK UAVs to the Indian Ministry of Defence. These are unmanned vehicles. After this announcement, shares of drone manufacturer Bharat Forge Company registered an increase in Intraday at 12.55 pm, It is trading at Rs. 1294 each.
AAROKs are Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) category UAVs. They are known for offering the best technology and performance at a low cost. They have the capabilities to monitor enemy movements at high altitudes and over long distances.
The electromagnetic sensors and radar in them allow them to monitor the enemy. Moreover, its control systems are very easy to integrate with other military equipment. Bharat Forge stated that the drone, which can fly for 24 hours, can carry a payload of about 1.5 tons. The demand for them is increasing as it has the capabilities to go into enemy territory and attack their defence equipment.
As part of the agreement signed with the French company, Bharat Forge has announced that it will set up a production line in the country to produce AAROK. The company said that this will help meet the domestic military needs. Not only the production, but the company will also provide maintenance and servicing services. (Maxim News)
