Hyderabad, July 5 (Maxim News): In a move aimed at improving transparency, accessibility, and ease of use for residents, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has launched a series of online property tax services on its official website.
Citizens can now conveniently access and apply for a range of property-related services without the need to visit municipal offices. The newly introduced online features include:
- Assessment Revision
- Vacancy Remission
- Owner Name Correction
- Door Number Correction
- Assessment Exemption
- Self-Assessment of Property Tax
This digital initiative is part of GHMC’s broader strategy to promote e-governance and reduce the dependency on manual processes. The online system is designed to save time, reduce paperwork, and minimize delays in property tax-related services.
A GHMC official stated, “We are committed to building a more citizen-friendly governance structure. These digital services will help property owners submit and track applications from the comfort of their homes.”
The online property tax portal is accessible via the GHMC official website, and the services are available 24/7 to all Hyderabad residents.
By offering seamless digital access, GHMC aims to improve service delivery and encourage more citizens to stay compliant with property tax obligations while reducing footfall at municipal offices.
