Hyderabad: 4 Arrested For Temple Hundi Thefts

Hyderabad: Medipally Police on Tuesday nabbed four persons, including two minor boys, on charges of theft of collection boxes from temples. The gang, according to the police, was involved in 10 cases so far, with the police recovering stolen material worth Rs 1.2 lakh from them.

The suspects, D Mahesh (19), Mohd Sameer (20) along with the two boy juveniles, all from Achampet of Nagarkurnool, moved around on two-wheelers and targeted temples. They broke open the locks of temple doors and stole the collection boxes. Cases were booked against the gang in Medipally, Nagarkurnool and RGI Airport police stations earlier.
