Hyderabad: Woman’s Body Found in Residence, Unattended for a Week

Hyderabad, Dec 20 (Maxim News): In a rare incident that took place in Quthbullapur where a family continued to live with the body of a dead woman.

According to the police, the family resides in Chintal under Jeedimetla police station. One of the family members, a woman (40) died recently due to illness.

However, the family members have been keeping the dead body at home for a week without performing the last rites. Even though it was rotting and infested with worms, they continued to live normally in the same house.

The incident came to light when the neighbours informed the police due to a strong stench. The police suspect that the matter did not come out because the family’s mental state was not right. The police took them to the hospital for treatment.
