IAF jet crashes in Budgam district of J&K, Pilot dies

An Indian Air Force (IAF) MiG jet has crashed at Garend Kalan village in Budgam district of Jammu & Kashmir on Wednesday.

A pilot died in the crash. Security forces are rushing towards the crash site. Villagers have gathered around the jet which is in flames. Pilot dying in a crash is sad news when the Indian armed forces are on high alert to face any eventuality from the Pakistani side. Reasons for the crash can be known after technical evaluation of the engine.
