Hyderabad, Nov 24 (Maxim news) The Rajya Sabha Member Dr. K. Laxman along with the Andhra Pradesh leaders belonging to the 26 castes of BCs has met with the Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan at Raj Bhavan, today submitted the petition requesting to reinstate these North Andhra BC families staying in Telangana in the BC list which was removed by the TRS government after the formation of Telangana state.

Later, speaking to the press persons, Dr. Laxman has warned that if these removed 26 castes from the BC list are not included, there will be another movement against the KCR government. He said that the issue has been brought to the notice of the Governor with the request to reinclude it in the BC list of Telangana. Dr. Laxman said that the Governor responded positively to his appeal. He criticised KCR for saying that he will take care of Andhra settlers in Telangana and that he was wrong.

He criticised KCR for unilaterally removing 26 castes from the BC list with the stroke of a pen. He expressed concern that due to KCR’s action, the scholarship of BC students are facing serious difficulties. Is it a crime for the ancestors of those castes to have Andhra roots? asked Dr. Laxman.
