KCR Busy In Propaganda, Not Campaign: Uttam

Huzurnagar, November 25: TPCC President Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that caretaker Chief Minister and TRS president K.. Chandrashekhar Rao was busy in propaganda and not in campaign.

Addressing a series of road shows and rallies in his constituency Huzurnagar on Sunday, Uttam Kumar Reddy said that KCR was unable to list out a single achievement during his four-and-a-half-year rule that makes him eligible to seek people’s mandate again. “With zero performance and a regime full of failures, KCR should have retired silently. Instead of being apologetic for not fulfilling any single major electoral promise, KCR has unleashed false propaganda against the opposition parties,” he said.

Uttam Kumar Reddy said KCR, KTR and other TRS leaders were having sleepless nights ever since Congress, TDP, TJS and CPI joined hands to form People’s Front. “KCR suppressed people and did not allow anyone to speak against his government. By encouraging defections, he weakened the opposition parties. He kept all other democratic institutions as hostage and never tolerated anything that could go against his dictatorial regime. He might have thought that he would return to power by taking the advantage of division of votes among opposition parties. However, his plans miserably failed with entire opposition joining hands as per the wishes of common people,” he said.

The TPCC chief said that the People’s Front, comprising of Congress, TDP, TJS and CPI, was representing common people in the fight against dictatorial KCR’s regime. “TRS came to the people in 2014 and made some promises. People trusted KCR and believed that all those promises will

KCR is now trying to grab some media attention by criticising Chandrababu Naidu. He is trying to play the game of fear psychosis. He is cautioning people in a way as if some aliens will come from the other world to rule Telangana. “People of Telangana have already made a mistake in 2014. They will not repeat it in 2018. In next elections, they will vote only for the parties who are loyal to Telangana and not for those who patronised and rewarded betrayers of Telangana with ministers’ posts,” he said.

Uttam Kumar Reddy described KCR as a man with a heart with full of hatred towards others. “This is a negative factor in a personality. However, KCR is so opportunist that he is trying to use this quality to mislead people and get their votes. Telangana needs a government that thinks positive and could take every one along. A person with full of negativity, jealousy and hatred like KCR would only bring bad luck for people of Telangana,” he said.

He advised KCR to stop from indulging in baseless propaganda and do some serious campaigning if he truly believes in a democracy.

On the second day of his campaign, Uttam Kumar Reddy held road shows in Huzurnagar, Gopalapuram, Keethavarigudem, Rayanigude, Garidepalli, Nereducherla, Dischincherla, Guduguntiapale, Palakeedu, Jaanpahad and Sunyampad. Thousands of people participated in the road shows and the scenes resembled like a jatra.

Uttam Kumar Reddy, who is seeking re-election from Huzurnagar, for the third term promised that he would dedicate his entire life for the people of this constituency and Telangana. He also explained the major promises being made by the People’s Front with the people for next elections which include Rs. 2 lakh crop loan waiver, Rs. 3,000 unemployment allowance and 2 lakh jobs in first year of formation of government.
