KCR Distorted My Words: Jana Reddy

Former MLA and senior Congress party leader K Jana Reddy denied that he ever promised to campaign for the Telangana Rashtra Samithi if the State government managed to supply round the clock free electricity to agriculture sector in the State.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Jana Reddy said, “My comments on the issue were distorted by TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao at the TRS public meeting in Husnabad.” Jana Reddy said, “It is true I said I will wear the TRS scarf and campaign for it if TRS manages to keep its promise of generating 24,000 mega watts of power by the end of 2018 in the State. I said I will do this if the TRS government gave water for two crops and irrigated one crore acres.”
