KTR Will Be Next CM, Srinivas Goud Tells Congress, BJP

Hyderabad, Dec.27 (Maxim News): Slamming the Congress and BJP for their pungent comments on the forthcoming municipal polls in the State, Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud today asserted that TRS working president and IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao will be the next Chief Minister of Telangana State.

Addressing mediapersons here on Friday, Srinivas Goud asserted that KTR will be chief minister by stepping into the shoes of his father and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. He made it clear that the TRS leadership took the decision in this regard. “While the entire nation was looking at KCR leadership, the Telangana people and youth were looking at KTR for the Chief Minister post”, he said. He also attributed the situation to their persistent efforts for development and welfare schemes. Certainly KTR is the only leader, who will be taking up the mantle, he added.

The minister accused the BJP and Congress of fearing to face municipal polls. While the national leaders of the BJP were showering praises on Telangana welfare schemes, the State leaders were making false charges of corruption for political mileage, Goud said. He also accused TPCC Chief and MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy of making false charges on the Election Commission. He also said Uttam had failed to win in Huzur Nagar bypoll seat as his wife Padmavati faced defeat in the hands of TRS candidate Saidi Reddy he ridiculed.

Srinivas Goud also slammed the Congress and the BJP for political comments as they have no guts to face polls. “We have won all the previous polls and will repeat the show in the municipal polls, he claimed. The BJP leaders should promise national status to Kaleshwaram project and then fight the municipal polls, he demanded. He also demanded that the BJP leaders get national festival status to the much popular “Sammakka and Sarakka Jathara” noted as Telangana Kumbhamela. (Maxim News)
