Majlis Nazar On Rajendranagar

Hyderabad, may 26 (Maxim News): Rajendranagar Constituency, which was once far from the city, got integrated into the city over time and developed rapidly. The verdict of the voters is typical in this constituency where some rural areas and some urban areas are mixed.

The AIMIM will also become crucial as Muslim predominance is high in some divisions of the constituency. In the last elections, the candidate of this party got nearly 50 thousand votes. Who will contest on behalf of AIMIM in the Assembly elections to be held in a few months has become a topic of discussion locally. Not only AIMIM leaders but also other party leaders are eagerly waiting to see who the party will announce its candidate.

Mirza Rahmat Baig, who contested as a Majlis candidate from the constituency in the year 2018 Assembly elections lost and was recently elected as an MLC from local bodies. With this, Majlis started efforts for another candidate.

In view of the vote bank, there is a debate going on among the Majlis party leaders as well as BJP, congress and BRS as to who will be the Majlis candidate. There are currently 4.98 lakh voters in the constituency. In this, Muslim minority votes are 1.4 lakh. Suleman Nagar Division, Shastripuram Division along with Narsingi, Rajendranagar and Shamshabad areas, Muslim minority votes are huge.

The AIMIM is predicting that if all the Muslim votes go to Majlis, victory will be easy. With this, it is reported that the party leaders are planning to hold a strong candidate in the next election. Muralidhar Reddy who contested on behalf of Majlis in 2009 elections got 23,300 votes, Zakir Hussain javid who contested in 2014 got 49,053 votes. In 2018 Mirza Rahmat Baig got 46,547 votes.
