Montha Cyclone: Andhra Govt Announces Rs. 3000 Assistance To Each Affected Family

Amaravathi/Hyderabad, Oct 29 (Maxim News): It is known that the impact of Cyclone Montha is continuing in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In this context, the coalition government is taking steps to provide financial assistance to the victims of the cyclone. It has issued orders to provide financial assistance to the victims who have come to the rehabilitation centers in AP. It has been stated that financial assistance of Rs. 1,000 should be provided to each victim. It has issued orders to provide a maximum assistance of Rs. 3,000 if there are more than three people in a family.

It has been suggested that this financial assistance should be provided before the victims leave the rehabilitation center for their own homes. Special CS Sai Prasad, Disaster Management Department, has issued orders to this effect.

Meanwhile, the effect of Cyclone Montha is currently continuing in Khammam. There is incessant rains across the district. Low-lying areas have been inundated due to the flood flow of Godavari. (Maxim News
